This scaling company is a fast-growing healthy food delivery business. Over the last five years they have delivered over 3,000,000 meals and are a proud nutrition partner to the English Institute of Sport, feeding many of Britain’s top athletes. Each week, they purchase over 500,000 items of fresh produce and repack them into over 500 different combinations of boxes!

The Role

The Operations and Systems Manager must ensure that the co-packers have everything that they need. They adhere to the highest food safety standards and are constantly innovating to make our operational processes and systems more efficient! You will work closely with the Head of Operations daily to ensure key deliverables!

Responsibilities include the entire overseeing of printing labels and manifests for the daily packing process. You will oversee the production of all boxes by co-packers on a weekly basis and work closely with the other members of the operations team to ensure that boxes are ready for dispatch. You will work collaboratively with line managers to ensure people, processes and systems are in place to hit key production targets, and crucially, you are constantly improving in this area!

You will need to focus on the reduction of errors through the production process and strive for continuous improvement. You will drive technology and process improvement to increase packing efficiency and reduce error rates, including being the point person to automate parts of production.

About You

You will take pride in improving production quality and respond promptly to any quality complaints. You will be a self-starter and be able to build strong commercial relationships with the wider team. You will have be mission-orientated and work to inspire the co-packing teams to care about customer needs, the brand and product!

You will be comfortable in a fast-changing environment, embracing the varied demands and be able to adapt quickly to business priorities.


  • You must be educated to Degree level minimum.
  • Demonstratable experience understanding the HACCP principles across production processes.
  • Extensive project / programme management experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel.
  • Proven ability to work independently.
  • Important – This role runs 7am – 4pm, ​Tuesday to Saturday and is based at Oakland International, Redditch.
