I am partnered with a scaling tech business who are on a mission and are dedicated to, helping banks and financial services players transform themselves and launch into the next generation.
As People Operations you will be on a mission to foster a collaborative, high performing and inclusive culture for all current and future hires into the business.
This People Ops time will roughly be split, focusing on People Experience, hiring and attraction within Talent, as well as onboarding and creating culture.
The People Ops will:
- Manage all aspects of the employee life cycle, including onboarding, probation, policies & process improvement, performance management, benefits, payroll review, L&D, engagement/EVP, retention, reward and offboarding.
- Lead on complex employee relations cases with empathy and have a focus on upskilling managers in order to mitigate risks and minimise escalations.
- Act as a strategic partner, working closely with senior stakeholders and Workforce Ops Manager to determine future hires and develop robust recruitment plans and strategies.
- Support with the recruitment process, including sourcing and selection, screening, interviewing, offer management and contracts. Occasionally working with agencies on niche roles.
- Ideate, improve and be a key driver in shaping our DE&I, Values and Wellbeing strategy and roadmap.
The People Ops skills and experience:
- Have 5+ years of generalist HR experience, ideally as a People Partner within a fast-growing, Digital/Technology, FinTech or Start-Up.
- Have strong knowledge of UK employment law and best practice.
- Previous recruitment experience will play an important part in the success of this role.
- Genuinely care about working with employees, offering empathy, building trust quickly throughout your area of responsibility.
- Demonstrate analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
- Are organised and have a high attention to detail.
