A Year of Wins, Fails and Lessons Learnt!

The real story is that we struggle with the same challenges as everyone else. Hiring challenges. Productivity challenges. Growth challenges. Time Management challenges.

The past year has seen us take many steps forward and a few steps back. With a great team, a whole lot of spirit, and some wonderfully loyal customers who have made the journey extra special, here’s what we have been up to over the last 12 months and a brief insight into what’s happening in 2020.

Overall, we’ve had a great year, with our revenue up 52% year on year we have had a lot to celebrate! A day at the races, a black-tie dinner at the Mayfair Hotel, and a 1920s Murder Mystery party, just to name a few. We have also moved into grown-up offices in the heart of Piccadilly Circus. Receptionist and all.

As we know, a company is only as good as its people and 2019 saw us hiring some pretty bloody good ones. Customer services guru Natasha Harries is doing a sterling job focusing on what she knows best, emerging technologies. Felix Farlow joined us from the UHNW world, to launch our family and private office.

We bought our finance function in-house, which is being led by Louise Whitton. Happy days! To build our employer brand, we hired Amelia Sordell who will be focusing on our employee engagement both internally and externally with a view to helping us continue to stand apart from our competitors.

And so, 2020 looks set to be full of promise. We plan to diversify into further specialisms, Legal PAs and Paralegals into legal practice and other areas such as consumer and FMCG.

On top of that, we are starting to consider other UK locations. Watch this space!

This year we’ve continued to beat our competition and helped a range of clients from seed-stage start-ups through to some of the fastest-growing Tech businesses and Unicorns. By combining our deep sector knowledge with continued investment in the latest technology, we have worked with the owner of a top premier league football club, a newspaper and media mogul, a company that infiltrates terrorist funding, right the way through to a voracious, eco-friendly cleaning company.

Redefining the definition of the Executive Assistant role, we continue to work with best in-class Executive Assistants and connect them with our client base of heavy hitting CEOs and Founders.

Partnering with progressive businesses, facilitating their growth, and being part of their journey is what we enjoy most. ?

A huge thanks to everyone who has supported us over the last 12 months and beyond! It’s been a lot of hard work but a whole lot of fun.
