I am collaborating with a Health & Wellbeing tech business in their mission to grow and expand their fabulous offering in 2024. With Series A funding on the horizon, it is now a key part of their strategy to create foundations in their HR and People function – enter this hire.

As People Partner you'll be on a mission to foster a collaborative, high performing, inclusive and healthy culture where the business can thrive, and talent is unleashed!

You will have a huge amount of responsibility, autonomy, and creative freedom to help build a best-in-class People function.

The People Partner will:

  • Manage all aspects of the employee life cycle, including onboarding, probation, policies & process improvement, performance management, benefits, payroll review, L&D, engagement/EVP, retention, reward and offboarding.
  • Lead on employee relations cases with empathy and have a focus on upskilling managers to mitigate risks and minimize escalations.
  • Influencing leaders and managers to create high performing teams encompassing diversity, inclusion, wellbeing and adoption of cultural values and behaviours.
  • Act as a strategic partner, working closely with senior stakeholders to determine future hires.
  • Develop, create and roll-out people first processes that will add value and benefit the business.

The People Partner skills and experience:

  • Have 5+ years of generalist HR experience, ideally as a People Partner within a fast-growing start-up.
  • Genuinely care about working with employees, offering empathy, building trust quickly throughout your area of responsibility.
  • Demonstrate analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Previous experience implementing and rolling out new processes from scratch.
  • Proactive self-starter, comfortable in a standalone position.
  • Confident and assertive manner with respect for confidentiality.
  • Effective communicator within all areas of the business – grassroots to leadership.

Benefits:

  • Salary up to £80,000 (doe).
  • Discretionary bonus.
